Hello Aged Parent. I wouldn't mind if he restricted himself to blessing the animals in the show but he seems so determined to be photographed with the dancing girls every year.....
Guys, you don't understand humor. The good Cardinal is playing against type. Get it? Allow me to explain: we all know that a good and respectable Cardinal would not be caught dead posing with a bunch of dancing girls at a burlesque. What horrible judgment, right? But the good Cardinal knows that, too, so he does it IRONICALLY. With a little knowing wink, ya see. And so that makes it okay somehow.
