AMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY GOAL: THE MASSACRE OF CHRISTIANS

In this long but compelling article by Alex Newman we once again address the fact that the United States of America is directly responsible for the wholesale slaughter and displacement of Christians in the Middle East.  Patriotic (and Christian) taxpayers are financing this every pay day and most of these coerced financiers don't seem to care very much about it...which fact continues to astound us.

This unspeakable evil, carried out by America and its "loyal ally" in the Middle East is, by far, the most shameful episode in the entire sorry history of this country, a country awash in shameful episodes (do we need to name them?).  Far, far worse than the relatively benign institution of slavery in the 19th century, the US-backed murder of Christians is an affront to Heaven that, we know, will not last forever.  God has only so much patience.

A nation that will not read great books, or sit in quiet contemplation and reflect upon serious matters, is a nation that is nearing its exhaustion point.  The bread and circuses provided by the entertainment industry keeps Americans forever in thrall of trivialities, stupidities and concupiscence.  It keeps us numb from the dreadful realities that are facing us.  The Snowden Affair has awakened a few people but there are still millions in this country who are oblivious to the spectre that is fast approaching.  It has often been said that just prior to falling into a police state most citizens are completely unaware of the signs that were there for everyone to see.  This perfectly describes the USA of 2013.  So as their brothers are being killed on a daily basis in places like Syria we look the other way or, worse, we let our minds absorb propaganda fed to us from all directions.

Atrocity after atrocity is committed, but we still keep silent.  We must ask our little band of readers why this is so.

But as the United States policy does indeed entail the annihilation of Christians in its own country (with ever more anti Christian laws) and the rest of the world there is another power on earth that seems to be going in the opposite direction.  This is also astonishing.

Let us do what we can to inform our neighbors of what mayhem is being committed in their names and at the same time let us do what we can to help these pitiful people facing the blood lust of Washington and its loyal ally.

In any case, doing God's work whenever and however we can is better than the alternative which our tax dollars are contributing to.

[Yes, we do write often about this subject often.  But our hatred of injustice and hypocrisy compels us.]

The U.S. and the EU are sickening
hypocrites. They care about the free flow of oil flowing from where and to where they want it. These entities do not want Russia,
Iran, Syria and we need include China and North Korea to form any
threat in opposition to the West's
Imperial plans. The West wants them all to be weaker and by any underhanded and reckless means.
Yes of course there are bad actors
but U.S. and EU are bad actors and
if anyone does not cooperate in their hypocritical and unjust schemes bad things happen; sometimes real bad things. Yes they care about this. And of course
the biggest problem in the world
Israel. They care about that unholy
land because they Have To. What a lunatic scheme that is.

I think I am not naïve and do understand that oil is the vital
resource in the modern world. My
specific point is that the West under the U.S. prevents any alliance that has strength in the marketplace of oil. The "nuclear
threat" of Iran is false. And is used to make Iran weak and weaker.
Instigate bloodshed in Syria thus instability to make Iran weaker. It is all attrition.

Indeed, Alex. Israel is always somewhere at the center of these events in the Middle East, manipulating things as best they can in their favor. That is why I am interested in Israel's position on the goings-on in Egypt just now. I imagine it would be instructive to see whose side Israel is on in that turmoil.

Aged parent, In Syria Israel is on the terrorists side because Syria has not yet been bought off by the West thus having U.S Military installments. And control of pipelines and Corporate dominance of these resources. Egypt long bought off and Egypt Military being the leading branch of the Government is Irael's choice and when Israel makes a choice according to them it is the Only
choice. They intend to see to it
that any opposition will not succeed. Israeli agents are likely burning churches and setting off
explosives to make the Military look like the good guys. Israel has an absolute history of terrorism blamed on their "enemy".

Yesterday.19 Aug. the Prime Minister of Turkey says that Israel instigated and in fact brought about the Egypt military coup and a middle-east expert, an Israeli says Israel supports the military. I maintain that Israeli assets use terrorist means to be attributed to others to accomplish certain aims. U.S. Intelligence know this. They have done it too.

Yes, Anon, I did see those remarks by Erdogan. Interestingly, some of the neocons are in disagreement over the issue...odd, because they are usually on the same page, that page being, whatever is good for Israel is good for us.

Regardless of that, what is generally certain is that whatever turmoil goes on in the Middle East it usually has something to do with the "state" of Israel.

Aged parent, Right always something to do with Israel. In 1944 when Zionist Jewish voices in the U.S. became louder and more demanding for a State, the U.S. State Department officially was very opposed to this. Their thought was that we should not create Arab opposition and probable hostility to the U.S. from Arab Nations. The U.S. priority in the middle east was oil and U.S. Military Installations there to deter the Soviet Union. I think we can consider the legitimate aims though the methods are always questionable to say the least.
Everything may have continued in a better way if not enter Israel. Now look. This was quite before the had become the Iconic Event in all of History.

Anonymous@3:20p.m.,

You are certainly correct. The original USA position was opposed to an exclusively Jewish state, but that changed as we know. President Harry Truman took in millions of dollars from Zionist sources and then after he was elected president immediately recognized the illegal Jewish state, and it has been terrible in the Middle East ever since.

Up until Pope John Paul II the Catholic Church was violently opposed to any kind of Jewish state in the land sanctified by Jesus Christ. Tragically, Pope John Paul reversed the wise decisions of his predecessors (particularly Pope St Pius X) and "recognized" the illegal occupiers of Palestine, and it has done terrible damage to the prestige of the Church ever since.

I hope one day we again get a wise Pope who will undo this damage.
