In addition to these other proclivities of Mr Lynch he appears to have a rather "challenged" view of life, death and adultery. The family of Terri Schiavo offers their thoughts upon the retirement of this third-rate Bishop:

Bobby Schindler, brother of Terri Schiavo and president of the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network, reflected: "As a Catholic myself, any criticism I offer of Bishop Lynch is rooted in my love for, and obedience to, the role of any bishop in shepherding the faithful. That being said, Bishop Lynch has been a poor moral leader who has confused and misled the people of his diocese about my sister and the meaning and consequences of her state-sanctioned death. The worst thing that can happen when you've got your hand out for help is for someone to spit in it. In my family's experience, Bishop Lynch was like the man spitting in the hand of a person in need."

Good for Bobby Schindler for making this much needed public statement. I had the GREAT privilege of speaking several times with Terri's mother and her sister Suzanne. The Schindler family is a perfect model of Catholic strength as they conformed their will with that of God's. Lynch is completely despicable. As far as I am concerned he is a murderer. Even by secular standards he would be considered an accomplice. How much more God?! It will be easier for an Abortionist to meet their Creator and Judge than it will be for this disgrace of a human being and bishop.

It is good to hear you met and spoke with the family. Thank you for those observations on them.
And that is exactly the problem. Since PaulVI imposed the New Order of Mass, and the bishops followed this up with zealous destruction of everything that formed and maintained Catholic Spiritual life in the Faithful, the words of Our Lord have been a consistent test of the action of the Bishops: Which of you, when his son asks for bread will give him a stone, or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? (Mt 7:9) And they have all failed this test. God is their judge.
The last sentence of this statement of Terri Schavio's brother "Bishop Lynch was like the man spitting in the hand of a person in need" says it all. This arrogant attitude of the modernists breaks my heart, and has broken the hearts of millions. The ones who stopped going to church, because there was nothing there anymore for them.
Slowly, their tsunami, the impiety of destruction, is falling away, and some faithful clergy are heroically working to give back what was so long denied my generation and those born after the 1950's. God bless their work with success, comfort his people, and Save us from the evil one.
