How interesting, that when the truth begins to hurt a little, and comes perilously close to one's own malfeasance, the instruments of the law come out at once.
Roberto de Mattei:
'What is being prepared is an ecclesiastical regime based on the political use of the law'
True enough. Here is the deMattei piece in full:

If Church authorities think they can stop critical and adverse comment appearing in the internet, they are seriously deluded. Anyway, the strength of any organization is dependent on the adherence and compliance of its members to its internal rules. What we are witnessing is a significant number of serious Catholics no longer accepting the 'party line' and starting to think about voting with their feet. The drift toward the SSPX may become a stampede following the upcoming conference on 'Marriage and the Family'.
ReplyDeleteSir, did you notice that Professor de Mattei coins facetiously the expression "Neo-Franciscans of the Immaculate" ?
ReplyDeleteOuch! I hope it stings them - one can always hope ...no? To wake them up...not for badness...
