One of the blogs I turn to regularly for spiritual refreshment is the Ars Orandi Blog administered by Mr David Werling, a man clearly with an amazing propensity for hard work. As many have noticed the blog is now - temporarily? - inactive. I say temporarily more as a hope than actual fact, which I have no way of knowing.
The blogosphere can be extremely tiresome and depressing at times and so the loss even for a short while of the work of a man with such intense devotion to the Faith along with his willingness to reprint large and important works of spirituality is a great one. Let us hope Mr Werling's absence from the internet will be very short. We can be deprived of nourishing food only so long before starvation sets in.
I admire the man and wish him well and extend to him, should he chance to read this, my sincerest thanks for his past efforts and my hopes that he will not be a stranger to the small but sound Catholic presence on the internet.
Amen to that. I hope he's alright. I'm definitely missing my daily dose of Ars Orandi's beautiful postings. He hasn't posted on his Facebook page either since January 7th.
